Widget insights
See how a widget is used, explore visitor questions, and find widget usage across the organization.
Insights on a widget show how it’s being used and let people with edit access read the questions visitors have asked. Because widget visitors are members of the public, switching this on is a decision about their data rather than your colleagues’.
What widget insights show
Section titled “What widget insights show”Message and conversation volume for the widget, and — once switched on — the full text of visitor questions and the widget’s answers.
Switching insights on
Section titled “Switching insights on”A Space admin or editor with access to the widget can enable insights for it, the same way insights are enabled on an ordinary assistant.
Exploring visitor conversations
Section titled “Exploring visitor conversations”Once enabled, browse every conversation visitors have had with the widget in the selected time period, rather than only aggregate counts.
Organization-wide widget reporting
Section titled “Organization-wide widget reporting”Beyond a single widget’s own insights, organization-level Activity reporting includes widget metrics too — active widgets, conversation volume, and the widgets seeing the most use or the fastest growth. See Activity.
Widgets and cost
Section titled “Widgets and cost”A widget consumes tokens the same way an assistant does, and its usage can be tracked toward a billing group — a widget can be added as a billing-group member alongside people. See Billing groups.
Privacy considerations
Section titled “Privacy considerations”A widget’s visitors are members of the public, not your organization’s own users. Weigh what you enable insights on accordingly — a visitor never consented to your organization the way an employee did, and their conversation may still contain content worth treating carefully.
