Embed and deploy
Put a widget on your site as a floating button or an embedded window, and take it live.
A widget reaches your website through a code snippet, in one of two variants: a floating button in the corner of the page, or a window embedded wherever you place the snippet. Neither works until the widget is live and your domain is on the allowed list.
The two variants

Section titled “Floating button”Adds a chat button in the corner of your site. Add the snippet inside the <head> tag of your page.
Embedded window
Section titled “Embedded window”Places the chat directly in your page, wherever you put the snippet. Add it inside the <body> tag, at the exact spot you want the chat to appear.
Copying the snippet
Section titled “Copying the snippet”Copy either snippet from the widget’s Embed & deploy page and paste it into your website’s source. Both variants require your website’s domain to be on the widget’s allowed domains list. See Privacy policy and allowed domains.
Going live

Publishing and approval

Sharing a widget link
Section titled “Sharing a widget link”Beyond embedding, you can share a direct link to a widget with people outside your organization. They can ask questions through it, but — unlike an embedded widget on your own site — they won’t see any references in its answers.
Why a widget does not load on your site
