An assistant isn’t limited to answering in text. It can transcribe a recording, redact a PDF, generate an image, produce a finished document, and — where your organization has connected them — read from and act in other systems.

Why an ability might not be available to you

Which of these you can use depends on the models and tools your organization has enabled, and on the security classification of the Space you’re working in. If something described here doesn’t appear for you, check with your administrator before assuming it’s missing.
