Appearance

The Appearance page controls what the widget looks like on your page and what a visitor sees before they type anything. Text color follows your primary color automatically, so the two stay legible together, and a live preview alongside the settings shows exactly how it will look before you take the widget live.

Content

• Welcome message — shown before the visitor’s first message.
• Suggested questions — shown as tappable suggestions before the first message, the same idea as example questions on an ordinary assistant.
• Input placeholder — the placeholder text shown in the widget’s message box before a visitor starts typing.

Style

• Primary colour — sets the widget’s header and accent color. Text color adjusts automatically to stay readable against it.
• Corner radius — set a specific value, such as 12px, or leave it empty to use the default.

Layout

Hide the widget’s header and welcome screen and show only the conversation itself (Conversation only) — useful when you’re building your own page design around the chat rather than using the widget’s default frame.
