Sharing assistants
Publish an assistant to its Space, share a copy by link, or add a collaborator to a single assistant.
There are three ways to get an assistant to someone else. Publish it so everyone in the Space can use it, send a link that lets them import their own copy, or add them as a collaborator on that one assistant.
Publishing to a Space
Section titled “Publishing to a Space”Publishing makes an assistant available to every member of its Space, including viewers, at once. Everyone shares the same assistant — update its instructions or knowledge, and the change takes effect for all of them immediately. See Publishing and approval for how the request and approval flow works.
Sharing a copy by link
Section titled “Sharing a copy by link”If you want to give a colleague a completely independent copy of your assistant — for example, so they can use it in another Space or build on it themselves — use a sharing link. Open the assistant’s settings, copy the share link, and send it. The recipient opens it in a browser, selects Import assistant, and chooses which Space it should land in.
What a copy includes
Section titled “What a copy includes”Only the assistant’s name, description and instructions.
What stays behind
Section titled “What stays behind”No data or knowledge from the original assistant’s library. For security reasons, none of it is copied — the recipient connects their own relevant knowledge to the new copy.
Adding a collaborator
Section titled “Adding a collaborator”As a Space admin, you can grant a specific Space member direct editing access to a single assistant, without giving them broader access to the rest of the Space. The collaborator can edit the assistant’s configuration, instructions, and connected knowledge, but gains no other access to the Space.
Removing access
Section titled “Removing access”Remove a collaborator from the assistant’s settings at any time; their editing access ends immediately. Unpublishing an assistant removes it from view for everyone who isn’t its owner or a collaborator.
Limits your organization may set
Section titled “Limits your organization may set”Your organization can disable sharing via public links altogether. If you can’t find the option, check with your administrator.
