Cost control

Intric gives organization administrators a single control center for tracking, governing, and allocating the cost of AI usage. You can see total consumption in real time, set budget limits, control which models may be used, and generate reports for internal invoicing.

Cost control in Intric is built around billing groups. A billing group can represent a department, a unit, or a specific user group, and it acts as a cost center. Each user’s consumption counts toward the billing group they belong to. If a user belongs to no dedicated group, their consumption counts toward an organization-wide default group, so that no usage is left unallocated.

The central administrator (Org Admin) has an overview of all billing groups across the organization and can appoint dedicated billing group administrators who handle tracking, budgets, and invoicing within their own group.

All data can be filtered by selectable time periods and exported in open CSV format or retrieved via API for further analysis and integration with external systems.
