Planner (read-only)
Microsoft Planner plans, buckets and tasks for the signed-in user — read-only, with no writing tools.
What is actually on the board, readable in conversation — so a status question does not require opening Planner and scrolling.
What it is
Section titled “What it is”A read-only connection to Microsoft Planner via Microsoft Graph, scoped to the signed-in Intric user. It reads plans, the buckets within them, and the tasks within those.
There are no writing tools in this version: nothing is created, assigned, moved or completed through this connection.
Use it for
Section titled “Use it for”- “What is on my plans right now, and what is overdue?”
- “Summarise the tasks in this bucket.”
- “Which tasks are assigned to me across all my plans?”
- “What are the details on this task?”
| Function | Answers |
|---|---|
| Usage guide | How plans, buckets and tasks nest — the assistant reads this first |
| List plans | The plans the signed-in user can see |
| List buckets | The buckets within a plan |
| List tasks | The tasks within a bucket or plan |
| Get task | One task in detail |
Data and permissions
Section titled “Data and permissions”- Scoped to the signed-in user. The assistant sees the plans that person sees — not the organisation’s.
- Read-only. No task is created, changed, assigned or completed.
Getting started
Section titled “Getting started”The connection uses the signed-in Intric user’s Microsoft identity. Your IT department grants the relevant Graph permission once, for the organisation.
Limitations
Section titled “Limitations”- Read-only, deliberately. Moving a task to done still happens in Planner. If write support matters to you, say so — it is a scope decision, not a technical obstacle.
- One user’s view. Two people asking the same question can correctly get different answers, because they can see different plans.
- Planner, not Project or To Do. Neighbouring Microsoft planning products are not covered.
- Attachments and comments are not read — this is the task structure, not the discussion around it.
