Lantmäteriet
Swedish property and address data from the national mapping and cadastral authority — property search, address lookup and resolution.
Turning what someone typed into the property it actually refers to — which is the step most property questions get stuck on.
What it is
Section titled “What it is”Lantmäteriet is Sweden’s national mapping, cadastral and land registration authority. This integration searches for properties by designation, looks up addresses, and resolves a written address to the underlying record.
The resolution step is the useful one: “Storgatan 5” is not an identifier, and a property designation is. This connection gets from one to the other.
Use it for
Section titled “Use it for”- “Which property is this address on?”
- “Find the property with this designation and tell me what is registered.”
- “Resolve this address — I need the formal record, not the text someone typed.”
- “Search for properties matching this.”

Data and permissions
Section titled “Data and permissions”- Read-only. Nothing is written to the register.
- Live. Answers reflect the register at the time of the question.
Getting started
Section titled “Getting started”Talk to your Customer Success Manager — Lantmäteriet’s services have their own access arrangements and this is not a keyless open-data source.
Limitations
Section titled “Limitations”- Sweden only.
- Property facts, not ownership history or valuation. What is registered about the property — not what it sold for, and not the full chain of title.
- Address matching is genuinely hard. Swedish addresses have several written forms, and a near-match is not a match — the designation is what identifies a property unambiguously.
- The register is authoritative but not instantaneous. A recent subdivision or transfer may not yet appear.
