EDP Future

Ask your assistant about customers, properties, tariffs, invoices and consumption straight from the EDP Future water-utility billing system.

Ask about customers, properties, unpaid invoices and water consumption directly against EDP Future — without anyone having to build a report first.

EDP Future is a Swedish business system for water and wastewater utilities: customer registry, facilities, meters, tariff configuration and billing. This integration reads the system’s database and answers questions in plain language.

The connection is read-only all the way down — the database login has no write permissions, so the assistant can never change a customer, a meter reading, a tariff or an invoice.

  • “Which properties are missing a water meter or full water and wastewater coverage?”
  • “How much is currently unpaid, and how does it break down?”
  • “What did the apartment buildings in the northern district consume last year, in cubic metres?”
  • “Show me everything we have on this customer — properties, services, meters and invoice history.”
  • “Which tariffs are in use, and how many customers are on each?”

Free query A guarded path for what the ready-made tools do not cover — a single SELECT, run as a read-only database login
  • Read-only. The restriction lives in the database login, not only in the code.
  • Your data stays with you. Installed against your own database, the integration runs in your own infrastructure and only answers calls from your Intric environment.
  • No indexing. Questions go straight to the database — there is no copy of your customer registry anywhere else.

Demo: A public demo instance runs against a fully synthetic database. Add the MCP server to an assistant and start asking — no preparation needed.

Against your own database: The integration is installed in your own environment and needs a read-only database login plus network access from your Intric environment. Contact your Customer Success Manager and we will plan the installation together with your IT operations team.

  • The demo data is invented. Names, personal identity numbers, addresses and amounts in the demo instance are generated. The tariff configuration is real, so answers about tariff logic are representative.
  • Read-only. The integration can read and calculate, never register, correct or invoice.
  • Covers water and wastewater. This version answers questions in that domain.
  • Not a decision in itself. Answers reflect what the database held at the time of the question. Formal decisions and billing still happen in the system.
