DiVA
One Swedish university's research publications, drawn from the national DiVA archive and indexed for search.
A searchable index of one university’s recent research output, kept locally so that browsing it does not hammer the national archive with every question.
What it is
Section titled “What it is”DiVA is the Swedish national archive for university publications. This integration holds an indexed extract of it — one institution’s publications, covering recent years and refreshed on a schedule.
That scope is the important thing about this page. It is not a search across Swedish research; it is a search across one university’s output, and reading a result as national coverage would be wrong.
Use it for
Section titled “Use it for”- “What has been published on this topic recently?”
- “Who publishes most in this area?”
- “What are the recurring keywords across this collection?”
- “Show me the most recent publications.”
- “Give me the details for this article.”
| Function | Answers |
|---|---|
| Usage guide | What the collection covers, and what it does not — the assistant reads this first |
| Collection statistics | How large the index is and what period it spans |
| Top keywords | The recurring subjects across the collection |
| List authors | Who appears in the collection |
| Search articles | Publications matching a query |
| Recent publications | The most recently added work |
| Get article | One publication’s full record |
Data and permissions
Section titled “Data and permissions”- Public research metadata. Nothing about your organisation passes through.
- Read-only.
- A local index, refreshed on a schedule rather than queried live — which keeps load off the national archive.
Getting started
Section titled “Getting started”Add the MCP server to an assistant and ask.
Limitations
Section titled “Limitations”- One institution, not the national archive. This is the limitation that matters most, and it is easy to forget once results start coming back. An absence here means the work is not in this collection, not that it does not exist.
- Recent years only. Older publications are outside the indexed window.
- As current as the last refresh. A publication registered this week may not be indexed yet.
- Metadata, not full text. Titles, authors, abstracts and keywords — not the papers themselves.
