Share a specific assistant
Share a specific assistant (Share copy via link)
Section titled “Share a specific assistant (Share copy via link)”If you want to give a colleague access to a specific assistant without having to add them as a member of your entire Space, you can use the function to share the assistant via a link. This is an efficient way to spread a specific tool to the right person without giving them insight into other files or assistants in the workspace.
How to do it (Sender):
Section titled “How to do it (Sender):”- Go to the assistant you want to share.
- Click the share icon (placed next to the assistant’s name or in its settings).
- Select Share via link and copy the link.
- Send the link to your colleague.
How the recipient does it (Import):
Section titled “How the recipient does it (Import):”For the recipient to be able to start using the assistant in their own work, they need to import it to any Space:
- Open the Space where the assistant should be used.
- Click the Import assistant button at the top right in the interface.
- Paste the link you’ve received and confirm. The assistant is then shared to the new space and ready to use.
Invite a collaborator to an assistant
Section titled “Invite a collaborator to an assistant”As a space administrator, you can grant a specific space member direct editing access to a single assistant — without giving them broader access to the rest of the space.
This is useful when you want one person to maintain or improve a specific assistant while keeping other space content restricted.
How to add a collaborator
Section titled “How to add a collaborator”- Open the assistant you want to share editing access to.
- Go to the assistant’s Settings.
- Find the Collaborators section and add the space member you want to grant access to.
- Confirm. The user can now edit that assistant directly.
The collaborator can edit the assistant’s configuration, prompts, and connected knowledge — but does not gain any other access to the space.
Note: This feature is currently available in V4 of Intric and is the first step toward more precise, assistant-level permission management. The existing space role system continues to run in parallel during the transition.
Manage security when sharing
Section titled “Manage security when sharing”Since Intric is often used for sensitive information, all sharing is always connected to the Security class of the current space.
- Permission control: You can only share content with people who have permission to see information in the security class that the space belongs to.
- Private Spaces: If a Space is set as private, it won’t be visible to others in the organization until they’re invited or added to a group with access.
Tip: By using group access, you can easily ensure that, for example, the entire HR department always has access to the latest HR assistants without having to invite each person individually.
