PRH company register
Finnish companies in the open business and association register (YTJ) — name, business ID, company form, status and addresses.
Look up a Finnish company and get what the register actually holds: its business ID, its form, whether it is still active, and where it is registered.
What it is
Section titled “What it is”The Finnish Patent and Registration Office (PRH) runs the joint business information system (YTJ) together with the tax administration. This integration reads its open register — keyless, search-then-fetch.
Use it for
Section titled “Use it for”- “Is this company still in the register, and what is its company form?”
- “Find companies matching this name and give me their business IDs.”
- “What addresses are registered for this business ID?”
- “Has this company been dissolved?”

Data and permissions

- Read-only.
- Live. Answers reflect the register at the time of the question.
Getting started
Section titled “Getting started”Add the MCP server to an assistant and ask.
Limitations
Section titled “Limitations”- Finland only.
- Registry facts, not financials. Name, form, status and addresses — not turnover, accounts, credit standing or beneficial ownership.
- Registered status is not trading status. A company can be registered and dormant, or active and in difficulty; the register does not say which, and using it to judge counterparty risk would overreach what the data supports.
- Name search is imprecise. Similar names are common, and the business ID is what identifies a company unambiguously.
