Retsinformation

Danish law from retsinformation.dk — statutes, orders, circulars and official guidance, down to a single paragraph.

Danish legislation from the official database, retrievable paragraph by paragraph rather than as a wall of statute.

retsinformation.dk is Denmark’s official legal information database. This integration searches it and fetches what it finds — whole acts, or one paragraph at a time. Repeated lookups within the same area are cached briefly, so working through a statute does not mean re-fetching it for every question.

  • “What do the Danish rules say about processing personal data in case management?”
  • “Find the order that implements this act.”
  • “Give me paragraph 5 of this law, and nothing else.”
  • “Which circulars and guidance exist in this area?”
Function Answers
Usage guide How to move from a search to a paragraph — the assistant reads this first
Search Statutes, orders, circulars and guidance matching a query
Get law One document in full
Get paragraph A single provision, without the surrounding act
Cache status How fresh the cached answers are, so the assistant can say rather than assume
  • Open, no key. Nothing about your organisation passes through.
  • Read-only.
  • Short-lived caching. Repeated searches in one area are served from cache for speed; the cache-status tool exists so an answer can state its own age.

Add the MCP server to an assistant and ask.

  • Denmark only.
  • Not legal advice. The text and the reference come back; the application is a lawyer’s judgement.
  • Cached answers can be slightly behind. For a question where the very latest amendment matters, the cache age is worth checking — that is what the tool is for.
  • Danish source text. An English rendering is the assistant’s translation, not an official one.
