Försäkringskassan statistics

Swedish social insurance statistics across three benefit areas: sickness benefit, parental benefit and temporary parental benefit (vab).

Sickness and parental benefit figures from Försäkringskassan’s own open statistics, reached without a key or an account.

Försäkringskassan administers Sweden’s social insurance and publishes statistics about it. This integration is a keyless proxy onto that open statistics API, covering three benefit areas: sickness benefit and the sickness rate, parental benefit, and temporary parental benefit — the leave taken to care for a sick child, known in Sweden as vab.

  • “How has the sickness rate developed in this region over the last five years?”
  • “What does parental benefit use look like, split by parent?”
  • “How much temporary parental benefit was taken last winter compared with the one before?”
  • “Which tables are available, and what dimensions do they carry?”

  • Open statistics, no key. Nothing about your organisation passes through.
  • Read-only.
  • Live. Answers come from Försäkringskassan at the time of the question.

Add the MCP server to an assistant and ask.

  • Three benefit areas only. Sickness benefit, parental benefit and temporary parental benefit. Other benefits Försäkringskassan administers are not covered by this version.
  • Aggregate statistics. Nothing here is about an individual, and no case data is reachable — this cannot answer anything about a specific person’s claim.
  • Sweden only.
  • Statistics lag reality. A benefit period is counted once it has been processed, so recent months are systematically incomplete and reading them as a trend is a mistake.
