Drawing version comparison
Tracks changes between versions of large drawing sets — what was removed, added or altered, in both drawing and text.
Two versions of a large drawing set, and the question nobody enjoys answering by hand: what actually changed between them.

What it is
Section titled “What it is”A comparison engine for versioned drawing material. It takes two versions of the same set, works out the differences, and reports them in both forms the material carries: as changed items in the drawing, and as changed text.
Changes can also be highlighted directly on the drawing, so a difference can be pointed at rather than described.

Data and permissions
Section titled “Data and permissions”- Your material, held for the comparison. Nothing is published and nothing is written back to the source.
- Read-only against the originals. A comparison produces a report, not an edit.
Getting started
Section titled “Getting started”Set up per deployment against the kind of drawing material you work with. Talk to your Customer Success Manager — the shape of your material determines what the comparison can see.
Limitations
Section titled “Limitations”- It reports differences, not significance. A moved line and a changed requirement both come back as changes, and deciding which matters is the reviewer’s job. The tool is deliberately not ranking them.
- Comparison quality depends on how the versions were produced. Two exports from the same source compare well; a redrawn version compares badly, because almost everything reads as changed.
- Same set, two versions. This compares versions of one thing, not two unrelated documents.
- Not a review or an approval. Finding every change is the easy half; deciding whether the change is correct stays with the person accountable for it.
