Invite a Collaborator to an Assistant

As a space administrator, you can invite a specific space member to collaborate on a single assistant. This grants them editing rights on that assistant only — they do not gain any additional access to other assistants or content in the space.

This is useful when you want someone to help maintain or improve a specific assistant without opening up the broader workspace to them.

  • Space administrators can add and remove collaborators on any assistant in their space.
  • The person being invited must already be a member of the space (any role).
  1. Open the assistant you want to share editing access to.
  2. Go to the assistant’s Settings.
  3. Find the Collaborators section.
  4. Search for and select the space member you want to add.
  5. Confirm. The collaborator is now granted editing access to that assistant.

The collaborator can edit the assistant’s name, instructions, prompts, and connected knowledge sources. They cannot change space-level settings or access other assistants they have not been explicitly invited to.

To remove someone’s editing access, return to the assistant’s Settings, find them in the Collaborators section, and remove them. Their access is revoked immediately.

This feature is currently available in V4 of Intric and is the first step toward more granular, assistant-level permission management. The existing space role system (Admin, Editor, Reader) continues to run in parallel during the transition period.
