Admin, Creator, User, Spaces, and security classes.
Before we start, it helps to know a few of the fundamentals in Intric.
Intric has three permission levels: Admin, Creator and User.
- Admin holds the highest permissions and administers, among other things, every user on the platform, configures the available language models and sets security classification.
- Creator can build assistants.
- User can use assistants that a Creator or Admin has built.
Spaces
Section titled “Spaces”A Space is a workspace where your assistants live. You can invite colleagues into a Space to give them access to the assistants you have built — or let them build their own within it.
Security classifications
Section titled “Security classifications”In Intric you can put different rules and boundaries on your assistants. These are called security classifications, and which ones you have to choose from is decided by your administrators. The classification limits which types of language models, tools and integrations are available.
Example: if you are working with more sensitive data and do not want it leaving a given jurisdiction, you choose a Space whose classification permits exactly that type of data. You then cannot accidentally pick a language model that sends data elsewhere. For a different use case — open, public information — you choose another classification, and gain access to other models and integrations.
You notice the classification in practice through the label in the chat field, which reminds you what type of information applies in that particular conversation.
