What is Intric? Intric is a platform where you create AI assistants that work as digital colleagues. They can help you and your colleagues find information, analyse documents, answer questions and support working processes.

You need no technical background to get started. By combining clear instructions (prompts), the right knowledge and suitable capabilities, you can build assistants shaped around your organisation.

Three building blocks shape an assistant

Everything you do when building an assistant belongs to one of these three:

  1. Instructions (the prompt) — what the assistant should do and how it should answer.
  2. Knowledge — what data it can reach: attachments, knowledge sources, integrations and web search.
  3. AI settings — which language model is the engine, and which extra features are switched on.

Principles to remember

  • Intric is model-agnostic. You choose the language model to suit the need — you are not locked to one vendor.
  • Security classifications govern what may be used. Which models, tools and integrations you can reach depends on the classification that applies where you are working.
  • You can share and collaborate with colleagues, both per assistant and per Space.
  • Start from the need. AI is the tool, not the goal in itself.
  • It is not a universal solution. Aim for collaboration between human and machine — the assistant does the groundwork, you supply the judgement.
