Areas covered
Section titled “Areas covered”The walkthrough covers seven areas, from why Intric exists to where you find inspiration afterwards. Each links to the articles that describe it in full, so you can go back to them when you build on your own.
- Why Intric — The value of the platform, and the approach behind it. See Who are Intric?.
- What AI is — What AI can and cannot do, and how to set realistic expectations. See How an assistant works and the AI Fundamentals course.
- Security classes — How a Space’s security classification decides which models and tools you can use. See Security classification.
- The platform — The personal assistant, and Spaces where you build and share together. See Getting started with Intric, Personal assistant and Spaces.
- Building assistants — Creating an assistant step by step, and what each part of it does. See Create an assistant, Instructions and Knowledge.
- Use cases — Examples of assistants that other organizations use in their daily work. See the Library.
- Intric Arena — The community where you learn with and from similar organizations, and how to join. See Intric Arena.
Build your own assistant during the walkthrough
Section titled “Build your own assistant during the walkthrough”Every participant builds an assistant of their own before the walkthrough ends. Open Assistants > Create in a Space; the assistant inherits that Space’s security classification, which decides the models and tools you can choose.
- Basics. Give the assistant a name. A description and example questions are optional. See Create an assistant manually.
- Instructions. Write how the assistant behaves and what it stays grounded in. See Instructions.
- Knowledge. Attach the files or knowledge sources it should answer from. See Knowledge.
- AI setup. Choose a model, or keep the default, Balanced. See AI setup.
