Track 3: The AI Lab
The hands-on track of Phase 2, where AI Ambassadors learn, find use cases in their own work and build
The AI Lab is the operational heart of Phase 2. It’s a recurring forum—typically every two to four weeks—where your AI Ambassadors come together with Intric’s Adoption Specialist to explore, test, and build. Whether you establish one depends on the scope of the pilot.
The AI Lab is a learning environment—and the arena where you identify the use cases and processes where AI can be used successfully. It is where the use cases that come from your own Ambassadors are found, and the best ideas, the strongest assistants, and the deepest organizational competence all emerge from it over time.
Sometimes an Ambassador can take a use case forward themselves. Sometimes it needs hands-on building and development, where Intric’s Adoption Specialists and engineers help tailor the assistant or agent to the specific need.
What happens in an AI Lab session
Section titled “What happens in an AI Lab session”- Share & reflect — Participants share what they’ve tested and learned since last time
- Identify use cases — Potential use cases and processes are identified from real work
- Build & iterate — Use cases the Ambassador can solve are taken forward in the lab; cases that need deeper build are taken forward with Intric’s Adoption Specialists and engineers
- Establish ownership — Who maintains an assistant, how it’s updated and evaluated
The learning principle
Section titled “The learning principle”Climbing the Staircase of AI Adoption requires different types of learning at different stages:
| Level | Type | What it means | Sufficient for |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Theoretical | Courses, guides, platform training | Getting started at Step 1 |
| 2 | Relational | AI Labs, workshops, community, peer learning | Moving toward Steps 2–3 |
| 3 | Experiential | Building, testing, failing, iterating | Reaching Steps 3–4 |
Intric facilitates all three. AI Labs are the primary vehicle for Level 2 and Level 3 learning—and where real movement up the Staircase happens.
Important: AI Lab participants need dedicated time. The lab cannot happen alongside an already packed schedule. Confirm this with leadership before Phase 2 begins.
