Workshops

An overview of available workshop formats to support your AI adoption journey with Intric

Workshops are targeted sessions you can draw on at any point during Phase 2: Adoption. They’re designed around specific learning objectives and build directly on the work happening in your AI Council and AI Lab tracks.

Most workshops are half-day physical sessions, though all formats can be adapted to digital if needed.

Below is a description of each available format.

Identifying use cases and mapping processes

Section titled “Identifying use cases and mapping processes”

Format: Half-day · Physical or digital · AI Ambassadors and creators

This workshop helps your team find where AI actually creates value in your operations, understand how to take a use case from idea to production, and start building something concrete on the day.

What you cover:

  • Setting a shared picture of what AI is good at—and when it isn’t the right tool
  • Mapping your own processes and identifying where AI can make the biggest difference
  • Prioritizing ideas using a simple value-vs-complexity matrix
  • Building your first assistant in Intric

What you take away:

  • A calibrated understanding of when AI is the right tool
  • A prioritized list of concrete use cases from your organization
  • At least one assistant started in Intric with clear ownership
  • A clear picture of next steps

Who it’s for: AI Ambassadors and operational staff exploring and building with AI. No technical background required—the most important thing is that you know your work.

Format: Half-day · Physical or digital · AI Ambassadors and creators

The goal: you leave having built something that works. This workshop is hands-on throughout, with training and inspiration built in based on what your group needs to take the next step.

What you cover:

  • Live demos of finished assistants—including how they’re structured (system prompt, knowledge base, configuration)
  • Building on existing assistants or exploring new use cases, depending on where your group is
  • Building in pairs or small groups, with support from Intric

What you take away:

  • Deeper knowledge of how to build effective assistants
  • Inspiration from what similar organizations have built
  • A new or improved assistant

Can be combined with training: This workshop pairs well with a morning training session—basic Intric training or advanced prompting. The training provides the framework; the build session puts it into practice the same day.

Who it’s for: AI Ambassadors and operational staff who want to go from testing AI to actually building with it.

Format: Half-day · Physical · AI Ambassadors and creators with assistants in use

This workshop helps you demonstrate what your assistants are worth—to yourselves, your colleagues, and leadership. Building an assistant is one step. Being able to describe what it does for the organization is the next.

What you cover:

  • What counts as value: both what you can measure in time and cost, and what’s harder to quantify but equally real—more consistent quality, less stress, knowledge that no longer sits with just one person
  • Filling in Intric’s value measurement framework for one or more of your existing assistants
  • Building your ROI story: three sentences you can actually take to your manager or raise in the next meeting

What you take away:

  • Language and tools to describe the value of AI in your organization
  • A documented value description for at least one assistant
  • An ROI story ready to communicate upward
  • A completed framework added to the library as a reference for future work

Who it’s for: AI Ambassadors and creators who have built and are using assistants and want to demonstrate their impact. You need at least one assistant in use—that’s what you measure.

Format: 3 hours · Physical · Experienced assistant builders

A practical workshop for those who have already built assistants in Intric and want to make them significantly better. The focus is on two things: writing excellent system prompts, and using Skills to give an assistant broader capabilities without losing precision.

The session is hands-on throughout. You work with your own assistants and leave with at least one that is noticeably sharper than when you arrived.

What you cover:

  • What separates a strong system prompt from a weak one—with real examples of both
  • What Skills are and why they produce better results when an assistant needs to handle several different tasks
  • Your own building track (choose one): improve an existing system prompt / convert a complex assistant to Skills / build a new assistant with a Skills structure from scratch

What you take away:

  • A concrete understanding of what makes system prompts effective
  • A clear picture of what Skills are and when to use them
  • At least one improved or rebuilt assistant

Who it’s for: Anyone building AI assistants in Intric who wants to go deeper on instructions and build smarter, more focused assistants.

Format: 3 hours · Physical · Teams of 2–4 people

A time-boxed event where your teams solve a real problem with AI—from scratch, in a few hours. It’s not about listening or learning a new feature. It’s about building something actually useful and seeing how far you get together.

Teams choose a challenge, get to work, and present their result at the end. The best solution is chosen by the group.

What you cover:

  • Choosing a challenge from a curated list—or bringing your own real process from the organization
  • Building independently as a team: testing, iterating, and completing a brief presentation of your result
  • Presenting live and voting: each team shows their solution, the group votes, and the best solution is recognized

What you take away:

  • The experience of taking a problem all the way from idea to finished output on your own
  • Deeper hands-on knowledge of building assistants and different types of functionality
  • A fun and creative session with colleagues

Can be tailored: Cases and challenges are adapted to your organization and can be scoped to specific departments or process areas if needed.

Who it’s for: Anyone who wants to test their knowledge in practice. Cases are graded by difficulty—you choose your own challenge. No advanced experience required.

Contact your Adoption Specialist or Customer Success Manager to discuss which format fits where your organization is right now and to schedule a session.
