Collaborate in Spaces

One of the biggest strengths of Intric is the ability to collaborate. By sharing Spaces and specific conversations, you can spread best practices, share important knowledge resources and ensure that the entire team has access to the same expert assistants.

In Intric, access is divided into two main categories depending on the purpose: editing access for those who should build and administer content, and viewing access for those who should use the assistants. For viewing access, there are in turn three different levels: organization access, group access and individual access.

Editing access: Invite for editing

When you want colleagues to help build up a Space, manage knowledge files or create assistants, you invite them as members with editing permissions. This gives them rights to change the content and structure in the workspace.

Roles for editing:

  • Space Admin: Has full control over the space. Can add and remove members, change security classes, manage all knowledge (Knowledge) and create/edit all assistants.
  • Space Editor: Can create and edit assistants as well as upload and manage files in the knowledge library, but has limited rights regarding the management of the space itself and its members.

How to do it:

  1. Go to Settings (gear icon) in the side menu for the current space.
  2. Go to the Members tab.
  3. Add the user and select the role Admin or Editor.

Viewing access: Use assistants

For most users, it’s enough to be able to see and interact with the assistants that exist in a Space without being able to change their settings or upload new documents. This is called viewing access.

You control who can use the assistants under the Access tab in settings. Here you choose between the three different sharing levels:

Type of accessDescription
Organization accessIn public Spaces, all users can see and use this Space’s published assistants and apps.
Group accessSpecified user groups can see and use this Space’s published assistants and apps.
Individual accessThese users can see and use this Space’s published assistants and apps.
