Scheduling

Plans can be configured to run automatically on a recurring schedule, allowing for “set-and-forget” background automation. This is particularly useful for compliance-heavy workflows, such as monitoring changes in laws or industry rules that apply to your organization. By scheduling a plan to check these sources at regular intervals, you can ensure you are alerted to critical updates without manual oversight.

Setting up a schedule

You can enable scheduling during the creation or editing of a plan. This allows you to execute workflows at regular intervals (e.g., daily reports or weekly data analysis) without manual intervention.

Managing scheduled runs

  • Visibility: When viewing your plans, the interface displays the “Next scheduled run” time for any plan with an active schedule.
  • Monitoring: Scheduled executions appear in your Recent Executions list just like manual runs, allowing you to review the outputs of automated tasks.

Note: Ensure any required external data sources or knowledge bases are accessible to the assistant to prevent scheduled runs from failing due to missing context.
