Tools (Additional capabilities)

Tools give the model capabilities it doesn’t have naturally. NOTE: Requires a model compatible with tools (e.g., GPT-4).

• Image generation: Create images from descriptions.
• Web search: Searches the internet for updated information (unlike “Websites” in Knowledge which is a saved copy).
• Databases: E.g., SCB or Kolada.
• Integrations: E.g., SharePoint (see section 4.4).

The assistant is smart enough to combine tools. If you ask about “Open Source models,” it can first search your internal knowledge and then supplement with a web search.
