Share assistants

One of the biggest advantages of Intric is the ability to scale up expertise by sharing assistants. By sharing a well-configured assistant, you ensure that your colleagues have access to the same instructions, tools, and knowledge as you.

There are two ways to share an assistant: by publishing it in a Space or through the Share copy via link feature.

1. Publish in Space (Recommended for teams)

This is the primary way to collaborate securely within your organization or department. When you publish an assistant in a Space, it becomes immediately available to all members of that workspace.

How to do it: Go to the assistant’s settings (Edit view) and change the status to “Published”.

Advantage: All members share the same assistant. If you update the prompt or knowledge library, the change takes effect for all users simultaneously.

2. Share copy via link

If you want to give a colleague a completely own copy of your assistant (for example, for them to use it in another Space or build on it themselves), you use sharing links.

How to do it: Go to the assistant’s settings -> Share. Copy the link and send it to your colleague.

Important: The recipient must open the link in a web browser to import the assistant. There they then select “Import assistant” and specify which Space it should land in.

What’s included? Only the assistant’s name, description and prompt (instructions) are copied.

What stays behind? For security reasons, no data or knowledge from the library is copied. The recipient needs to connect relevant knowledge to their new copy themselves.

Limitations and control

The organization has the ability to limit sharing possibilities to ensure information security. This may mean that the ability to share assistants via public links or external embeds (widgets) is disabled by your administrator. Contact your Admin if you’re unsure what applies to your organization.
