AI Tools

Under the Tools and Integrations view, you manage the external capabilities that can be connected to the organization’s assistants. In the interface, these are presented as “Tools” for end users, which makes it easy for them to understand what the assistant actually can do beyond just generating text.

Tool activation

As an administrator, you decide which specific capabilities should be available for your Creators when they build assistants. This can involve standardized tools like Web Search for real-time information, Image Generation for visual material, or specific data connections that you’ve chosen to activate for your environment. By curating the selection, you ensure that users work with approved and relevant functions.

Security and limitations

Each individual tool can be limited to specific security classes. This is an important feature for maintaining information security. You can, for example, allow image generation in an “Open” security class, but block certain external data connections in classes that handle sensitive information. This way, you ensure that no data leaks outside the frameworks you’ve set up in the system.

Custom integrations

If your organization needs to connect assistants to your own internal systems, such as a case management system, CRM, or specific databases, Intric offers the possibility of custom integrations. Under this tab, you’ll find information about your current connections.

Feedback welcome: If you see a need for a unique integration that isn’t available today, please contact us at Intric. We help you evaluate the needs and can guide you through the process of setting up a customized connection to your business systems.
